Every size comes in three heights:
✦ H30 — 1.2 inches (standard — same as the free starter kit)
✦ H38 — 1.5 inches (medium depth — more root volume)
✦ H50 — 2.0 inches (deep — maximum substrate and root space)

Choose the height that matches your plants. Stem plants thrive in H30. Root feeders and heavy growers benefit from H38 or H50. Mix heights across your tank for different planting zones.

Some edge margin is normal and intentional. A small gap around the glass helps you lift modules out safely and prevents them from pressing tightly against the tank walls.

What you need to build it
✦ A 3D printer, or a friend / print service to print the files for you
✦ Aquarium filter sponge — coarse grade, 1/2 inch thick
✦ Aquarium soil — round pellet style
✦ Gorilla Max Strength Construction Adhesive or aquarium-safe silicone
✦ Aquascaping tweezers
